Cruz Fana-Souchet, M.D.

Dr. Faña-Souchet is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Infectious Disease. She is also NCQA Certified in Heart and Stroke Care. Dr. Faña-Souchet attained her medical training from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre Y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. Her residency training was completed at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in Flushing, New York. She relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida in July of 2006.
Dr. Faña-Souchet is a member of the American Society of Microbiology, the Infectious Disease Society of America, the American Medical Association and the National Committee of Child Abuse Prevention. She was awarded the Joe H. Dwek Teacher of the Year award and the best Postgraduate 3rd Year in the New York Hospital in Queens.
Dr. Faña-Souchet is fluent in both English and Spanish.
