Bernita Sands, M.D.

Dr. Sands is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is NCQA Certified in Diabetes Care. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, completing her Internship at the University of Florida- Jacksonville and Residency at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Sands started with JSA Healthcare Corporation at the Brandon center in 1995 and has been here at the Ninth Street location since 2001.

In her spare time, Dr. Sands enjoys reading, traveling, playing chess and racquetball.
