Dr. Ala Sahawneh is Board Certified in Family Practice and Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine. He attended medical school in Hungary then completed his Family Practice Residency at the University of Alabama. Dr. Sahawneh completed his Geriatric Fellowship at the University of South Florida in June 2006. He is fluent in English, Arabic, Hungarian and basic French.

Dr. Sahawneh joined JSA Medical group-Brandon in August 2006. In his spare time, Dr. Sahawneh enjoys playing soccer; he also participates in the Big Brother, Big Sister program helping to mentor underprivileged children.
