Colleen Ellis, M.D.

Dr. Ellis is Board Certified in Family Practice and is NCQA Certified in Diabetes and Heart/Stroke Care. JSA Medical Group - Palmetto has received NCQA Recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home. She received her medical training at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Ellis completed her Family Practice Residency Program at Hunterdon Medical Center in New Jersey. She served as chief resident and was awarded the Senior Resident Award given by the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Ellis joined JSA Medical Group when she returned to St. Petersburg and helped open the Palmetto office. She is married and has 2 children, Kathleen born in 1998 and Conner born in 2001. She enjoys skiing, piano and activities with her children. Her special interests include preventative medicine.

Dr. Colleen Ellis is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is NCQA Certified in Diabetes and Heart and Stroke Care. Josephine Polch, ARNP earned her Master of Science in Nursing in May, 2009 at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida.

The center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Call for an appointment today!
