Kris Gray,
M.D., FAAFP
Dr. Gray received his
undergraduate degree in Biochemistry in 1981 from Andrews University in
Michigan and then fulfilled the next step of his medical training by
completing his MD in 1985 at Loma Linda University in California. Having
known for years that Family Medicine was his calling, he did a three
year residency in that specialty at Hinsdale Hospital in Illinois.
During his third year he was Chief Resident.
For the next 14 years he practiced the full spectrum of
family medicine including obstetrics, minor surgery, pediatrics and
geriatrics, both in the office and the hospital. During this time he was
also teaching at the Hinsdale Family Medicine Residency and was
President of a group of over 25 primary care physicians.
In 2002, Dr. Gray was asked to be Program Director of
the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency here in Orlando and
fulfilled that responsibility until 2010 when he joined Winter Park
Family Health Center as a full time physician.
Dr. Gray’s goal is to develop a lasting and trusting
relationship with his patients and to provide them with the best
evidence-based medical care possible. This includes not only diagnosing
and treating your acute illnesses or injuries but managing all your
chronic diseases and helping you take charge of your health, preventing
or postponing disease altogether using screening tests and lifestyle
modifications. |
