 New Hires

Dr. Ramos received her medical degree from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Cuba, where she also obtained a Doctor of Immunology degree.  She did post-doctoral research in Reproductive Biology at the Boston Biomedical Research Institute and was a Visiting Scientist at Vincent Center Reproductive Biology in Boston, Massachusetts.  Dr. Ramos completed her Family Practice residency at the Montgomery Family Practice Residency Program in Montgomery, Alabama.  She received additional training in Wound Care at the Institute of Advanced Wound Care/Baptist Medical Center South, also in Montgomery.  She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.

Karen joins JSA from Citrus Healthcare, Inc in Tampa, FL where she held the position of Team Leader Precert and Inpatient.
