Family Practice and Internal Medicine Group Practice in the Tampa Bay area, is pleased to announce the following:
New Hires
Jason McCubbin, M.D. – Staff Physician, JSA Medical Group
Sheldon, Tampa, FL
Dr. Jason McCubbin recently relocated
to Tampa from Louisville, KY. He earned his Medical Degree and completed
his residency at University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is Board
Eligible in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of
Physicians/Society of Internal Medicine and the American Medical
Association.
Stephen Shanklin, D.O.- Staff Physician, JSA Medical Group
Bradenton, Bradenton, FL
Dr. Stephen Shanklin has been
practicing in the Tampa Bay area for 30 years. He earned his Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in
Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Shanklin is Board Certified in Family Medicine
by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice and is a member of
the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic
Family Physicians and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Alagumalai Swammy, M.D.- Hospitalist, Sun City, FL
Dr. Al Swammy has been practicing in
the Tampa Bay area for the past 25 years. He earned his Medical Degree at
Madurai Medical College in India and completed his residency in New York.
Dr. Swammy is Board Eligible in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Mark Weitman, M.D.- Staff Physician, JSA Medical Group Kenwood, St.
Petersburg, FL
Dr. Weitman is Board Certified in
Family Practice. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at
Buffalo, School of Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at
Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Having started his career
in Pittsburgh, Dr. Weitman has been practicing medicine in St. Petersburg
since 1988. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice, a
Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a member of the
Florida Academy of Family Physicians and the Pinellas County Medical
Society.
