 New Hires

Michael Zane, D.O. – Physician, JSA Medical Group Seffner, Seffner, FL

Dr. Zane has been in the Tampa Bay area for several years.  He completed undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida then obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy at Des Moines University in Iowa.  His residency training was at Keesler AFB Medical Center, and he was Chief Resident from 2002-2003.  Dr. Zane is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and joins JSA after leaving MacDill AFB Medical Center where he was Chief of Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Zane earned several awards and decorations over his career in medicine including Internal Medicine Resident Teacher of the Year, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Major Archie Hoffman Award and the Air Force Internist of the Year Award.  He is an Associate Member of the American College of Physicians.    

Cynthia Urmson, RN – Regional Case Manager Orlando ,Florida

Cynthia returns to JSA from Metcare of Ormond Beach, FL where she held the position of Clinical Review Coordinator.
