MAJOR ACQUISITION
St.
Petersburg, Florida – JSA
Healthcare Corporation, which operates or is affiliated with 65 primary
care centers and 8 pharmacies in Florida, voted Best
Family Practice and Internal Medicine Group
Practice in
the Tampa Bay area, and ranked the 29th largest privately-held company
in the Tampa Bay area, is pleased to make the following announcement:
Effective July 1, 2006, JSA acquired the
assets of Pinnacle Health Systems in Las Vegas, Nevada and Salt Lake City,
Utah.
The Las Vegas purchase includes five
outpatient clinics serving over 26,000 Medicare and commercial members; an
IPA health plan administration and medical management services division
serving over 70,000 members; a medical billing division; and a file
management and storage division.
In addition, JSA acquired the assets of
P-5 Health Plan Solutions, a national TPA based in Salt Lake City, Utah
serving approximately 18,000 members.
With the addition of the Pinnacle
businesses, JSA employment will increase to over 950 employees and
projected revenues will exceed $400 million on an annualized basis.

Western United States,” remarked Lorie Glisson, President & CEO of
JSA Healthcare Corporation. Lorie will oversee both the Nevada and Utah
operations, in addition to actively maintaining her current leadership
role for Florida operations.
