ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS AND NEW EMPLOYEES

St. Petersburg, Florida – JSA Healthcare Corporation, which operates or is affiliated with 64 primary care centers and 8 pharmacies in Florida and voted Best Family Practice and Internal Medicine Group Practice in the Tampa Bay area, is pleased to announce the following:

New Hires

Cornel Tomelden, M.D. – Staff Physician, JSA Medical Group Gateway, St. Petersburg, FL

Dr. Tomelden is board certified in Family Practice.  He received his medical training at Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands-Antilles and completed his internship and residency at the University of Connecticut in Hartford, Connecticut. Prior to joining JSA he practiced at Westport Family Health in Westport, Connecticut and St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Tomelden is affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Carlos Salazar, M.D.- Staff Physician, JSA Medial Group City Center, Tampa, FL

Dr. Salazar is board eligible in Internal Medicine.  He received his medical training at Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela and completed residency at University of Houston Internal Medicine.  Prior to joining JSA, Dr. Salazar was a Senior Fellow at the Department of Medicine, Section of Geriatrics, Baylor College of Medicine and was the Assistant Medical Director at Garden Terrace Nursing Home in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Salazar is a Member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine and the American Geriatrics Society.

Ana Colon, RN – Case Manager, JSA Medical Group Pasadena, St. Petersburg, FL

            Ana joins JSA from Wilbur H Lynch Middle School in Amsterdam, NY where she held the position of Registered Nurse.

Irene Hureau, RN - Nurse Administrator, JSA Medical Group Kenwood, St. Petersburg, FL

Irene joins JSA from The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast where she held the position of

RN, Case Manager.

Jay Hurwitz – Center Support Manager, JSA Healthcare, St. Petersburg, FL
