Center Support Manager – South Pinellas/Manatee
POSITION SCOPE:
The Center Support Manager reports to the VP of Medical Management and is responsible for the oversight of the centers’ operational and medical management needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
¨ Seven years experience in
the healthcare field, as well as 5 years in a management/supervisory capacity
¨ Knowledge and experience in
data analysis, financial analysis and medical review
¨ Experience in developing
analytical tools and spreadsheets, along with instructional tools
¨ Knowledge and experience in
Quality Assessment and Improvement programs
¨ Knowledge and experience in
the development and administration of managed care principles and practices
¨ Ability to administratively
manage and coordinate services
¨ Ability to establish and
maintain effective working relationships with staff, members, network
providers, and health plans
¨ Ability to interact and
communicate effectively with JSA staff, providers, and local community
personnel
¨ Ability to develop,
implement and monitor policies to effectively uphold the JSA standards of care,
policies and procedures
¨ Ability to train and develop
educational tools
¨ Excellent planning and
organizational skills
¨ Current
¨ Computer literate, with
working ability of Word, Excel, Internet and e-mail
¨ Ability to travel locally
